If you're the type of person who's always being picked on -- or even attacked (verbally) -- for the things you do and say in public, perhaps by other members of the community you belong to and helped establish, I have a few words of advice for you.
Don't attack the people that defend you. Don't claim that they're as bad as everyone else. Don't assume that everything said by these people is always about you. Don't go off half cocked. Learn to apologize when you do something wrong.
This stuff's easy to remember on a good day. Try it on a bad day, too, and watch the rough seas turn calm.
Of course, advice is free and you get what you pay for. Then again, the best things in life are free.
