Today's was my longest ride of the season (so far ;-), at 30.02 miles. It took 1.42.47, giving me an average speed of 17.5 miles per hour (also the highest of the season, so far). It was windy today... really windy. If not, I may have been closer to 18 mph.
I hope my weight starts coming down soon. I've been eating carefully, riding somewhat regularly (three times this week, possibly a fourth tomorrow), and my rides have been longer than normal for this early in the season. So far my weight hasn't really budged.
Today I was working on Conversant, preparing it for release next week (knock knock), and thinking about how over-busy I've been lately. Barely enough time to think. Instead of working harder or more hours, though, my answer to that was to ride.
You might think that I'd be less productive during the cycling season, with so much time on the bike and out of the office, but that's just not the case. Less available, perhaps, but I definitely do more work. Besides, I'm a lot happier. I really love to ride!
There are no trackbacks.
