Rides 52 and 53 were regular training rides (~ 32.5 miles), but they were both quite fast, averaging 19.9 and 19.83 mph, respectively.
Ride 53 was the half-century with Mystic Cycle, on Tuesday night. This ride went much better than the previous week's, as I didn't get thrown off the bike by a bound chain, and I didn't get a flat tire that resulted in five miles of walking back to civilization. Still, I'd obviously overdone it on the day before, as I was much slower than normal: only 17.26 miles per hour.
I've almost caught up with the number of miles I rode last year, though I'm still 14 rides behind last year. Thankfully, my equipment isn't falling apart under me this year, so it looks like I'll be riding well into September.
There are no trackbacks.
