“Rolling Along”

Enclosures: None.

The plugin is installed and running on all of our production servers, the beta testers are all up to speed and have started creating their test pages, and the private beta site is serving hints and docs on The Next Big Thing in weblog technology.

Heh. Almost sounded like a marketer there for a second.

The truth is that I haven't told the beta testers enough, yet, for them to really have any clue about what's coming in future revisions of this plugin, and there's no way they'll guess.

So, it wasn't marketspeak, it was just the truth.

I have butterflies! This new weblog plugin is going to be the first tool to really tie all of Conversant's parts together. It's going to completely turn the new users approach to Conversant inside out: whereas before they had to learn all that Conversant can do and slowly build up their site with new features as their undrestanding increases, now they'll start out with a rich, powerful, accessible tool that reveals more of what Conversant is capable of the further they dig, whenever they're ready.

Macrobyte has been saying for almost three years that Conversant is incredibly powerful. Now we're going to prove it, and it's giving me chills. Power not just in what it can do, but in how easy it is to do it.

I'm not exaggerating, and this isn't marketease. You'll see.

Having had a bit of time to look at it, I have to say that what I see of the new plugin gives me shivers.
