Well, I finally reached the half-way point! I've ridden ten times so far this month, and 261.44 miles (11.44 miles beyond the halfway point). Can I squeeze another ten rides into the next twelve days? Probably not, but the point of this goal is to find out what's realistic, and I'm still eager to find out just how close to 20 rides in a month I can get. Maybe I'll make it! (Have the ambulance gassed up...)
Today's ride was a surprise! I left feeling a bit weak and light headed, because it was after 4:00 PM and I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. What's the surprise? Another record average speed for the year! That's three in a row! Now, today's wasn't a very big improvement over Thursday's (just .03 miles per hour), but I'm quite happy with it for two reasons:
One last little note: I've improved the look of the performance graph slightly, so that there's a little buffer (0.1 mph) at the top and bottom. Not sure why, but to my eyes it made it much more readable.
