“My Mother's Happy Dance...”

It's snowing like crazy this morning... we have at least three inches already, and it's still coming down heavily.

Normally this would be cause for my Mom to do a happy dance. She loves snow more than anyone else I know.

Unfortunately, she tripped over a braid rug earlier this week, cracking her rib on the floor. No dancing for Mom.

Thanksgiving Dinner is at Mom and Dad's place tomorrow, but Mom won't be serving the meal this year. She calls this the "Thanksgiving Curse," because she's injured herself just before the holiday more than once.
