The bad news is that the best I can hope for now is eighteen rides this month, and that's not even very likely... I'd have to ride six days in a row. We'll see what happens.
The good news is that my average speed is still climbing! I thought I was going to reach 18 mph today, but I wimped out at the end and only reached a little over 17.9. Still, it's another record for the season. Also, I've ridden more times this month than any previous month, and I've almost reached 1000 miles for the year.
It's too bad that I haven't always kept these kinds of records. I know my best average speed for an approximately 20 mile ride was something like 18.5 mph, but that's all I remember.
