Earlier this week a friend pledged $100 towards my PMC ride, bringing my current funding to $859.95. The minimum that I must raise is $2500, and the ride is in August.
If you'd like to pledge something right now, you can do so via my PMC eGifts page. Just takes a couple minutes, and it accepts all major credit cards. You can even pledge stock! ;-)
For those who haven't been following the story: the PMC is a charity bike ride across Massachusetts to sponsor the Jimmy Fund. The money goes to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for research and treatment of cancer. More than 90% of the money raised (planning for $16,000,000 this year) goes to the Jimmy Funny, so this a fairly low-overhead charity.
There are no trackbacks.
