“What a Day”

Today was a bad day.

First this. That's the mess I woke up to.

Then I spent the entire day at an auto garage (where Shane works) while they tuned up the Blazer and I tuned up their computers. Bartering is good, but they took all day for a tune-up and a flush of the cooling system, which is very bad.

Finally, I had to decide that my cat (Wixie) -- who won so many awards at the cat shows that in a single year she achieved the highest ranking possible (Supreme Grand Champion) -- is probably not going to live out the week. She's only four years old, but has lost nearly all of her weight, is severly dehydrated and isn't eating. The vet picked her up this evening, and is going to give her IV fluids and try to force-feed her (probably through a tube) for a couple of days. If that doesn't work, we'll never see her again.

That was just today. The whole week is a do-over, but let's not go there.
