“$40 Never Materialized”

The forty dollars I needed to round out the $400 I was trying to raise for the American Cancer Society... never came in. Just $40. Yesterday went so well, I thought this last tenth would be a piece of cake. With only a few hours left in the day, I'll be settling for $360.

Hey, it's better than then $200 goal I'd originally set, so I'm not too bothered by this. (I would have enjoyed presenting them with twice what I told them I'd raise.)

I hope I don't have the same problem with the PMC funds. I'll be kicking that effort into high gear in late May or early June. That $2500 is a real requirement. If I don't raise it, it's coming out of my own pocket (again, though, I'd like to double it).
