Yes, today's average speed was another season high for me (see the performance chart). I honestly didn't expect it today, because it was only the second ride in eight days, and it seemed that it would be enough to slow me down. I guess not.
The weather this weekend was unbearable: Friday through Monday, the humidity was between 85% and 100%, with the temperatures in the 70's and 80's (Farenheit). I couldn't ride... in fact, it was hard to even breathe.
Thankfully, the humidity blew away last night, and today was cool and dry (50%). It's supposed to stay like this all week. Now I can get serious again, and hopefully get three trips by the end of the weekend.
(I'm not really as blasé about the new record as I may sound... that was just a bit of sarcasm. I'm actually quite pleased with it.)
