Constructive criticism is a terribly hard thing to get right both on the sending and the receiving end. Fortunately it's usually coming from people truly /interested/ in the discussion at hand. That they could do a better job phrasing it is certainly true. But even when they're doing a bad job of being polite they are at least trying to say something. It's the wiser man that recognizes the gem hidden behind the sometimes clumsy commentary.
