Wow! What a day a Fenway Park. I took my four boys and Sandy to the presentation Saturday and we had a ball. We arrived at 11:00 and were ushered through the right field gates right onto the field! My boys, ages 5 through 12 were so excited. They played catch out on the grass, made some leaping catches against the green monster in left-center field and even took some cuts in the batting cages which are built under the center field bleachers. We had about 2 hours to roam and even came home with a plastic baggie filled with a small handful of Fenway Park's warning track clay. I've got some great photos of the family sitting in the Red Sox dugout with Paul on the bullpen phone.
The presentation of the check was great too. $16.2 Million is a remarkable gift. I continue to be amazed by the PMC.
Great news on the cancer front too. Our friend Don Johnson is doing better. The doctors, after having given Don just weeks to live last year with stomach cancer, have now reported that he no longer has cancer in his stomach. He's not out of the woods just yet, but clearly the power of prayer, coupled with the care of his doctors is having an impact. Makes me happy.
There are no trackbacks.
