Colloquy iconI started using Colloquy last week, for IRC. Colloquy is a mac-only IRC client that uses webkit (Apple's HTML renderer, on which Safari is based) to display the message interface.

I don't use IRC a whole lot these days, but I've been kicking around the idea of an unofficial #conversant irc channel. For weeks I've been using Mozilla's Chatzilla as an extension in Firefox. Once I'd tried out Colloquy, though... well, goodbye Chatzilla.

It's set up very much like the modern Mac OS X instant messaging clients (meaning, proteus and adium). Very speedy and, well, I really like it. Try it out! Colloquy is free and open source.
