Looks like one of my distant relatives is being executed down in Texas tonight.
I don't really like that idea very much. The idea of a government, which is (supposedly) owned by the people, being allowed to put it's own unarmed citizens to death (even "bad" citizens like Dillinghams)... is very distasteful. But that's what you get when you live in a country that puts the state first, and the individual second (or third, if you want to count big-business as being second).
