Today's was only my fourth ride of the season... for various reasons (most of them my own stupid fault), I'm getting a very late start this year.
I finally felt like the season was starting, though. I wasn't just trying to remember how to ride! ;-) Seven months off the bike is too darn long, and I have a lot of work to do if I'm going to be ready for the PMC in August, or even the Quabbin next month. (Eek! Next month!?)
The numbers are still on the bike, so I can't be precise. They don't look too good yet, that's for sure... what I remember is 18.25 miles at an average speed of only about 16mph. Oy.
Update: Stats: 18.25 miles (29.38 km) in 1h 8' 1" for an average speed of 16.09 mph (25.91 kph).
There are no trackbacks.
