“RE: Clark's Solution to Virtual PC on a G5”

The real reason I wanted the PC is to run a distributed computing application, D2OL.  It's like Seti@home, but looks for drugs that may be of use agains infectious diseases such as SARS.  Two hundred seventy dollars for 2.66 GHz is a price/performance ratio Macs can't touch,and for certains things, megahertz do matter. I learned this last point from Seth when we were discussing whether to run Conversant on a Mac or a PC.  So, really, it's Seth's fault that I bought the Dell.  ;-)
