This is being posted a day late, the ride was on Sunday the 18th.
As I said I would a few days ago, I've added another four miles to my route. It's funny, I still think of this as a "loop," but really it's more like a figure eight with an extra loop on it. I'm quite happy with it, though the next time I add some miles I'll have to be sure that it includes another hill.
The rain was off and on all through this ride, but mostly on. I missed the worst of it by just a few minutes, as there were thunderstorms passing through the area, and I seemed to be following just behind them. When I got home, the water was still running down the road in front of the house and still pouring off of the trees, but the worst I saw was a "heavy sprinkle."
This weather (warm, humid, and thunder storms) is supposed to continue all week, so by next weekend I'll probably be a duck. Or a fish.
(My weight was up a few pounds today, but I'm not worried about it. I had a HUGE lunch.)
Stats: 43.4 miles (69.87 km) in 2h 16' 46" for an average speed of 19.03 mph (30.65 kph).
There are no trackbacks.
