Happy Anniversary, Corinne!
That's right, folks. As of today, Corinne and I have been married for seven years!
This morning, she asked me (in jest) if I have the seven year itch. Hah! Not hardly. There's no doubt that Corinne is my one and only. Even with the incredibly painful year we're trying to survive, I can't imagine my life with anyone else, nor do I want to. I'll never stray: this cat is very happily domesticated.
Unfortunately, she's working today. I said this morning that if this country really valued marriage, they'd make your anniversary a mandatory holiday. :-) Not that I should complain too loudly, as last year at this time I was suffering through the second day of the PMC.
We have two trips this month (the PMC this weekend, and the big SCBF cat show in a few weeks), so we can't afford to do much today. (Plus, her birthday is in a couple weeks.) So we're going to enjoy a long lunch this afternoon down by the water, and just enjoy each other's company.
No matter what else changes in our life, Corinne, one thing has stayed constant. We love each other for all we're worth! (And we're not embarrassed to say so to anyone who will listen.)
(Check out our previous happy anniversaries! Cool. :-)
