You can also try a CoolMax head cap under the helmet.  I find on the REALLY hot days, I prefer the cap over no cap which is wierd.  There are also coolmax headbands but I have not tried those.  My Bell helmet pads seem to be holding up a lot better than my last helmet since I began using the cap.

Had fun last night reprogramming all the Nextel phones we use for communications on the ride.  SLOW serial download into the E2 memory.  Naturally they didn't get us the PIN codes for the GPS system yet, so we'll be loading those up tonight.  Nothing like last minute techical glitches to make things 'interesting'.  At least we don't need to reboot and manually load up the system every so often like we did last year.  That would really be a pain on a bike.

Good Luck Seth and all the other PMC riders.  And if you see a Maroon Recumbent with an ENORMOUS red seatbag, come say 'HI' to the "Lantern Rouge".
