Thanks to two donations made shortly after my last post on fundraising, I've reached the $2750 level required of all 2-day PMC riders. To everyone who donated, or provided a link from their own site, or even just told someone else about my efforts: thank you!
With the "minimum funding" out of the way, it's time to be a little more creative to raise more. First up is the auction for my time/services which I've been talking about for months. (Follow that link for the full page of details I've just posted.)
The PMC acutally has their own auction site on cMarket which will open sometime this week. I may auction my services through that site rather than through eBay, but I haven't decided yet. The only drawback would probably be "less traffic," but on the other hand, the cMarket site is specifically designed for non-profit, fundraising auctions. As long as I let all of my potential "buyers" know about the auction when it goes live, the lack of traffic from strangers shouldn't be a problem. Right? Anybody disagree?
There are no trackbacks.
