Hi Chris! Been a while since I heard from you.
I'll ask my LBS if they've heard anything about the kryptonite locks. My solution, though is just don't get off the bike! They're not likely to steel it if I'm still riding it!
More seriously, there are only two or three places I ever get off the bike and walk away from it: my house (I keep it in the garage), Mystic Cycle (the LBS) where the parked bikes are watched very carefully, and, uh... well, that's about it. I guess the MMA counts, but those are pretty safe, too. (I don't even own a bike lock or chain.)
Hmm, maybe I should bring a pen to the shop and see if I can duplicate this little magic trick. You wouldn't happen to have a URL for that cycling board, would you?
