Check this.. what seth said (step #5) is true, however, it did not work for me. Try using the cpan module Bundel::Msql it may work. It worked for me on 10.3 after many of the same problems. It might be caused due to the enabled multi-threading in the version of perl shipped with Panther.

however still make the change as in seth's step #5
