As I mentioned in my previous entry, FireFox is being promoted really hard, but the 1.0 release hasn't even come out yet! They are, in fact, still ramping up the promotions, as they get ready for 1.0 in November.
I've signed up as a "Community Champion." That means I've agreed to try to convince other people to promote firefox, too.
Ever talk about browsers, or the web, or technology on your own web site? Then please go sign up as a community champion at SpreadFirefox.com. It doesn't cost anything, and they provide a lot of material for use on your own site to help you build your own web of support for FireFox.
Plus, if I can get at least ten people to sign up through that link (only), I'll get a free t-shirt! Wooo! (Think of it as donating another piece of winter cycling gear.)
No, I'm not doing this for the t-shirt. I'm doing it because FireFox is a much better, safer, friendlier browser than IE, and I'm sick of hearing that my friends and family have been infected by another virus, another batch of adware, another headache.
There are no trackbacks.
