Hospital wings are not the only huge things. The officers will remember this for along time. Like Seth I am a cyclist and spend a good part of my weekends and holidays riding. I see at least one patrol car on most rides. I always think that despite the extra pay it must still stink spending holidays away from family and dealing with others misfortunes.
Years ago, twenty or more, I used to run into one cop out in Seekonk a lot while training. He always waved at me and I always waved back. I have no idea who he was. Not always able to see who was in the car I just started to wave at all the Seekonk cops I saw while riding. Most would wave back. Now it is a reflex. I see a cop. I wave. Most still wave back.
I havent met Seth but after finding out that he is Ellyns nephew I check in now and again. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers for a while now. I think your gift to the Norwich police is a wonderful thing done by great people.
Peace,
Bruce
