First, I'd like to point out that this was only an observation, not a complaint. Not at all.
My charitable donations are almost always time, rather than money. Since the time goes directly to the organizations I support (my home ecclesia, the PMC, the American Cancer Society) rather than to or through a particular person, I can't really answer your question.
I occasionally make small donations through people I don't know, but they're always small.
Still, I would have thought that with thousands and thousands of readers, at least one would have made some sort of donation. Oh well.
