There's a little more to the story. Our son, Shane, was hit by a car
when he was riding his bike - back in 1996 when he was almost 16
years old. He didn't have a helmet on. The car that hit him was
totaled, he spent most of a week "out of it" in the ICU but seemed to
come out of it with no real damage other than some huge scars. Seth
is convinced that the accident contributed to Shane's death last year.
One other thing - when Seth gets really angry, it's scary! Knowing
him as I do, I'm OK with the fact that he just rode past the punks. I
would like to find them myself. I'm pretty sure I could lay a real
good guilt trip on them! It would make me feel better, if nothing else.
