Your response suggests that you didn't get the 'beams' reference. It's a joke from the first Ghostbusters. Greg and I, in this case, are the super-powered-ghost-busting lasers that Venkman said must not be crossed, but which they later crossed in order to 'splode the Stay Puffed Marshmallow Man. (I think that was his name.)
