“I Met Sam”

This evening I asked one of the conference organizers to point out Sam Stephenson for me. He knew who he was, but didn't know him personally, so passed me off to someone else. The second guy pointed to a group talking in the main hall and said, "He's the one with the shaggy hair and the black t-shirt." (Not an exact quote.)

There were six people in the group. Three of them fit his description perfectly. Funny guy.

Anyway, I "figured out" something important while I was working on the new aggregator in Conversant, last month. If you know who Sam is, then you've probably guessed that it's related to JavaScript.

I described it for him, in brief, and he seemed to be quite intrigued. I was too tired for more, but we agreed to meet up again in the morning and review it.

I'll say more about it after he's a chance to see what I've done.
