"If you happen to be the "best friend of the cousin" of this woman's sister, please let me know who you are! I'm wondering if it isn't Chris from the road crew... but who knows?"

Nope, wasn't me.  I did look for you at the start (I was standing next to the Cheerleaders.)  I did manage to save the CEO of Dana-Farber who started to fall off his tandem almost at my feet due to a nasty chain-suck problem.  Didn't realize who it was until I reported the rider number and PMC command told me.  (^_^)

For me, this was an almost 'boring' PMC.  But then again, it's best that way.

I did get to ride a bit on Day 2.  I sweep the Canal road and the rail trail on my Recumbent, but due to the second rail trail section, I just rode from Nickerson to the Wellfleet stop with the last rider.  OK, I realize she was fairly slow and plenty tired, but I was amazed that I wasn't even breathing hard.  Not bad for less than a month after major surgery.  (had my Gall Bladder out the beginning of July after suffering for 3 months with Pancreatitis.)  Barely recovered for the ride this year.  I think I now have a total of 100 miles on the bike in 2006.  28+ just from the PMC.

Completely crashed Monday and my body explained how 'bad' I'd been.  (^_^)

Just getting back to work now.

Seth, it's been How Many Years?  Gotta come up with a plan to meet next year.  (^_^)  Never did get to see Greg Lemond.  Each time I passed the office at Sturbridge, I'd look to see if he was in, and he had just left, or nobody had seen him.  And I was able to find a vintage Yellow Jersey from 1990 for him to sign...   Well, maybe next year.

Anyway, awaiting your day 3 report.
Chris
