Yeah, it's been established now that nobody knows who it *really* was. "Scott Ripley's sister's best friend's cousin's husband's dog's pedicurist" is the closest I've come to identifying this person, so far.

Because we arrived at the start with only a few minutes remaining, I didn't have a chance to come looking for you in the van at the gas station, as you had suggested I do in a previous message.

Is this the guy with the broken hand from a "training accident"?

What time did you show up at the MMA on Saturday?

What time does the last rider go through on Sunday? I've always wondered about this stuff, because we finish so early. On the drive home, we're still seeing riders pulling onto Route 6, and it's usually large groups so I would guess the LAST rider is still a long way back.

Well, I'm glad you recovered. Hopefully next year will be better. :-)

Maybe 28 miles, even at a slow pace, was a little much at this point?

There's a chance I won't be doing it next year, because PMC weekend falls right on our tenth anniversary (August 3rd).

Or, we may do the PMC and then take off for a week of vacation immediately afterwards. We don't know yet.

If we go to the PMC again next year, then we should try to meet on Friday after I get in from the Huckleberries ride. Maybe at dinner?

> (^_^) Never did get to see Greg Lemond.

Neither did I. :-(

He's *supposedly* more accessible than that other big American star of the tour, but I don't think any of us saw much evidence of that this weekend. :-)
