Is there any chance that it will ever be moved back to Sept. or maybe
to May? It costs us a pile of money to participate in the PMC -
mostly because of the cost of hotels "In Season". And I hate, hate,
hate the traffic. It would be easier to find a place to stay & to
afford the hotel room if this thing didn't take place in the height
of the beach season.
Speaking of hotels - it was real nice to stay at the Bourne Bridge
Best Western this year. Very close to the action, unlike other years
when we were way out in Plymouth, Hyannis, etc & I had to get up way
early to drive Seth to Bourne, then go back to the hotel to try to
sleep a little longer. No wonder I was always late getting to P-
town. I already booked the room for next year. It would be great if
we could get a room at the Sturbridge Host, too. I called them at the
beginning of this year - on one of the 1st days in Jan. to try to
book a room. They told me they couldn't let me do that until the PMC
released them - & gave me an approximate date. When I checked back on
that date, they were sold out. Seth said he never saw an
announcement. Chris, do you stay there & do you get a heads up when
the rooms are released for booking?
I expect that Seth will be there again next year, God Willing, 10th
anniversary or not. The PMC seems to be the thing he looks forward to
all year!
It would also be great to have a room at the P-town Inn for Sunday
night but I wasn't able to make a reservation with them for next
year. Does the PMC have anything to do with their reservations?
