The RBC has Bikes for Kids program which it runs alongside of Person To Person. Together we match bikes and helmets to kids in need in Rockland County, NY specifically around the holidays. While getting things going on this fund-raising drive I created a Squidoo lens to help provide funds and spread awareness.
Squidoo gives 5% of revenue to charity, and RBC has started the process of becoming a recipient. I'll keep you posted.
I have no idea what a "Squidoo Lens" is, so let's just pretend he didn't say that. ;-)
As for the rest of it: cool! It sort of sounds like Daniel is involved with the RBC directly, as he said, "*we* match bikes and helmets..." That's even cooler.
Anything that gets kids on bikes and into helmets — and drags them away from the television and video games — is probably a good thing.
There are no trackbacks.
