Yeah, the baby's pretty exciting. The "not knowing what's going to happen" is pretty exciting, too. ;-)

If Flip still reads this stuff, I'm expecting him to speak up here. I believe he has told me a couple of times that our circadian cycles tend to be > 24 hours, not less. (And he once pointed me to an article about a scientific study that showed the same.)

This was a very sudden change. I used to go to sleep "sometime between 9 and midnight", then for months on end I was stuck in this 2-3am rut. Now I'm at a pretty firm 10-11 pm.
In other words, I don't think this particular change is related to circadian rhythm. If I had gradually backed out of that (very unhealthy) late-to-bed phase, then I'd be more inclined to agree.
