“2007 PMC Software Auctions: A "Feeler" Message”

Two years ago I asked my fellow software developers if they would donate some copies of their software to an auction. The auction was to raise money for the PMC, a cancer-related charity. The response was excellent, with over $10,000 worth of applications donated.

I'm doing it again this year.

Last time, we raised over $1,000. I learned a lot that year (2005), but in 2006 I never made the time to do it again. This year I'm starting earlier, hoping that this project can fulfill what I think is its potential.

"Things" are still being put in place (a lot of the information here on [tw] needs to be updated), so let's just call this a feeler message. If you or someone you know would be willing to donate software (licenses) to an auction where all of the profits go to a charity that raises money to help people with cancer, please send me an email.

Full details will be posted soon.

Also, please pass it on! In 2005, many of the developers (and companies) who donated their software had never heard of me before. They found out about it through links on other web sites, or through email from friends.
