Here's a picture of Sean McMains, taken last night on our way to dinner. Yes, he's taking a picture of a fountain on the sidewalk. These copper fountains ("bubblers") are all over the place.

I like the water fountains here in Portland. They're handsomely crafted and run continuously -- a surprising sight for someone who comes from a place as water-bound as Central Texas: You can also zoom out on this photo here .
