Monday I went out for another longish ride, in spite of the eyes. I'd been off the bike all weekend, and sometimes the addiction overcomes any of that silly "logic stuff" I can throw at it. And honestly, it didn't hurt at all.
So I rode a little over fifty miles. It was basically the same route that we used on Thursday, minus the Watch Hill / Misquamicut / Bradford spur, and I added in the full climb up Pumpkin Hill.
The weight really is NOT coming off very well this year. I'm not quite ready to panic, but if I don't start shrinking soon I'm going to switch to the flickr diet. (That is, I'll have to be satisfied with pictures of food.) The flickr diet is cool, as you can consume unlimited quantities of everything on the menu, and the food is guaranteed to be 100% free of toxins and fats. What could be better?
