The plan was to take a day off, Thursday, but I took off Friday also. I just didn't feel like riding, nor like pushing myself when I really didn't want to. I think that it was mainly the heat. It's too early in the year for afternoon temps over 90°, and my body hasn't had time to adjust.
Today's ride was good, though. The temperature was only about 75°, though it was a little windy for the first mile and last two miles of my "loop". Still, 45:50 for 13.61 miles is pretty decent, giving me my second highest average speed so far this year at 17.81 mph.
There are no trackbacks.
