I'll never be "unbeatable", but today I felt pretty unstoppable.
I'd been planning to leave for my ride at noon, but reworking this journal distracted me for too long and I ended up leaving at 6. Yes, that's right, six hours.
Anyway, I rode all the way through Watch Hill and Misquamicut, RI. By the far end of Misquamicut (the furthest point on this ride) my average speed was about 21.5 mph, and when I reached the home stretch it wsa still about 20. Unfortunately, I think I relaxed too much in that last mile. OK, I wasn't quite unstoppable.
Still, this was my best ride of the year so far. Not my highest average speed, but it was close and it was a looooong one.
Stats: 45.7 miles (73.57 km) in 137' 48", resulting in an average speed of 19.89 mph (32.02 km/h).
There are no trackbacks.
