"Don's Show"

Daniel hints that I may have been a little harsh regarding Imus the other day.

[I always thought that one pizza too many will kill something... OTOH, I enjoy Don's show.]

Though it's true that I don't like his show (ya think?), I used to listen to it all the time. (I stopped at least six years ago.) The "talking corpse" reference came from the show itself: his own lackeys used to (perhaps still do) call him that, usually after he called one of them a "bald headed geek."

Maybe the show is all grown up now that he doesn't have to compete with his protégé and king of the shock jocks, Howard Stern, but somehow I doubt it.

On the other hand, I'll give him credit for being one of the most talented interviewers alive (ahem) today. For a man that talks for a living, he's a darn good listener.

I've never been to Imus because he always sounds like he's wasted (I'd
love to hear him interview Joe Walsh just for the boys high school
bathroom effect).

LOL!!! One of the funniest things that Seth & I have ever seen on TV
was Joe Walsh's appearance on a "Who's Line Is It Anyway" special. It
was so out there. It had us rolling! :-) We often refer to it - the
"brain worms" part.
