I'm happy to report that four days later, both mother and kittens are doing fine!

There are a few pictures at the Elpis Birmans site (that's the name of our cattery).

I had seriously considered ending my cycling season a little early this year, after the last set of broken spokes. Fortunately, I woke up this morning to another beautiful day, and I just couldn't do it! So, the bike is now at Mystic Cycle Center having a brand new wheel built and installed.

In fact, it's time to pick it up and try it out.

Oh, one last thing just to keep me honest. I'm going to add yesterday's 4+ mile ride to whatever I do today. I can't let a bad wheel totally ruin my average for the month!
