Corinne and I spent most of the day with our ecclesia, enjoying some classes by Brother Frank Abel from Shelbourne (sp?), Ontario, Canada. The New England Fraternal Gathering is tomorrow, in Meriden (this year), and Frank's doing all the speaking this time.
The classes were really good, on the subject of developing and using your conscience. Frank's a college teacher, and he's been one of my favorite speakers for... well, for most of my life.
I'm glad he's here. Really, really glad! Why? Because I'm the alternate speaker for tomorrow morning, and I'm really not mentally prepared to speak in front of four-hundred-plus people right now.
