I've been promising everybody in the "Conversant circle" (developers and users) that I'll have a new weblog plugin "soon" for over a year now.

The first (and current) weblog tool has served us well, but it's a very old fashioned plugin and was never intended to live this long.

The new plugin is fully designed and 40% - 50% written. I hope that time can be found in the next week-and-a-half to finish it. Right now, the "new weblog plugin" has become something of an inside joke among the developers. No project at Macrobyte has ever been delayed this many times.

(Sorry, I know I don't usually write about this sort of stuff here... but this incomplete plugin is a source of great personal frustration.)
