This took a couple days, but I've finally put up my pictures of Allison at the hospital.
She's a cutie, and she whispered to me that I'm her favorite uncle. Smart kid. ;-) (She hadn't met Jed yet anyway.)
Anyway, Allison's home now, so I'll have to find my way over there this weekend to see if she's still cute.
All the excitement around Allison caused me to forget to mention that friend-and-customer Brian Carnell and his wife Elisabeth are having another baby. At least, that's what they're claiming... if you see a baby in that picture, you have better eyes than I do. ;-)
I wondered aloud the other day if we're at the beginning of another baby boom, but I suppose my friends and family have just reached the age where they have families.
UserLand released a new beta of Frontier and Radio. Both support Simple Cross-Network Scripting.
SCNS was promised years ago, but since then a number of us had virtually given up on it.
The basic idea is that I can run a command in a scripting environment on another machine as simply as I can on my own. (That assumes that the other machine supports it, of course, and that I have permission.)
My mother wrote a beautiful little essay about life, knitting, frogs, and new babies. That sounds funny, but it's very well written. Please have a look.
