My apologies to the unnamed person in the previous post for almost embarrassing him. I know the problems weren't intentional.

Actually, the biggest problem with receiving > 4,000 xml-rpc requests in an hour is that it bloats the log files too much. I didn't think it really slowed down the server all *that* much.

Tonight is joke night on Prairie Home Companion, and they're doing a long set of jokes on the differences between men and women. The first one was the best, it just about brought down the house.

Unfortunately, it's slightly too off-color for me to post it here, so you'll just have to trust me that it was really funnyt. ;-)

The Queue Suite, version 1.3b2, has been released. This is the first public release since 1.1b2, released waaaay back in late 1999.

The Queue Suite has been used very heavily by Macrobyte -- and others -- all along, but it's worked so well that there's been little reason to do public updates.

This is the last piece of Conversant to be released before the full release coming later this month. The Queue Suite is also used by the AttSearchEngine, RCSearch (the search engine for the Radio Community Server), and various other public and private tools.

Best of all, the Queue Suite is free.

(There's at least one well known tool that could benefit greatly from use of the Queue Suite.)
