The latest build of Mozilla includes built-in support for Quartz text smoothing on MacOS X 10.1.5. No Silk required.
It's beautiful! I didn't install Silk, so I didn't realize what a big difference it was going to make. It's really impressive, and can be seen everywhere: tab titles, contextual menus, dialog windows, and of course all of the web page text.
Unfortunately all of the carbon apps I use which still don't support it now look rather clunky and anachronistic.
Tonight I'm walking in the annual Relay for Life, just like last year. At 11:00 PM.
I'm a dope, though. I forgot to look for sponsors ahead of time. I was going to put up a link here on [tw] for sponsoring me, but I've been a little too stinkin' busy (and forgetful).
Oh well. At least it's rainy today, so the walking will be extra pleasant.
