This looks an awful lot like the end of Stargage SG1. It's too bad. In spite of what some other people have said, I really don't think the Sci-Fi channel ruined it. This season has been a mess, mostly -- very low budget -- but the overall story arc has remained very interesting and original.
I suppose lots of people already know the future of SG1... perhaps Sci-Fi Channel has said something about it. I've intentionally avoid any news or rumor, so as not to be disappointed.
Still, they're clearly tieing up a whole lot of loose ends, and giving the fans everything they've wanted. O'Neill and Carter are (almost) together, the Jaffa are (almost) free, and Daniel is (almost) ascended again. You don't give the viewers everything they want until the game is (almost) over.
