Mom and Dad took Corinne, Jed and me to a newish Indian restaurant in Groton for my birthday lunch today. Mom and Dad have never been to an Indian restaurant, but it's my favorite and one of Corinne's favorites (second only to pizza?). Very nice place, and they have a lunch buffet every day of the week! (Dad got three DWD peppers in their spicy dish, the rest of us didn't get any. I'm glad I had just warned him to watch out for them.)
Mom and Dad brought Corinne home, and I ran over to the other side of town to get my hair cut... but the barber shop was too crowded so I just came home again. (Same problem this morning.)
Brad Powell (long-term client, for years now) called a little after I got home. I'd been trying to reach him all morning. Why hadn't he been available? His wife had taken him to NYC for his birthday lunch! He almost didn't believe me when I said that I had just gotten home from my own. Happy Birthday, Brad!
Oh, and Corinne likes that I'm 33 now, because it's symmetrical. :-)
