Yesterday I said:
Looks like I'm going with the last option, but it still means the items won't be available for a couple of days because of logistics with getting the items listed by someone at the PMC under their own eBay account.
Today I changed my mind. Need to run this auction myself, nothing else made sense. So, I wrote to every one of the donors and let them know I was only going to donate 95% of the proceeds to the PMC, and the other 5% could cover my costs (ebay's fees).
They didn't let me down. I haven't heard back from all of them, but those who have written back have been fully supportive. (Many were surprised that I only went with 95% insteadf of 90, but I think that will be enough.)
Ugh, I think I'm going to be sick. I've been tieing myself up in knots over this for more than a month now.
Finally, the first auction is live.
As I've never done this before, I decided to just start one of the ten auctions tonight (one of the five Mac software packs.)
Figured I'd wait a day or two, see how it goes. If I get a bunch of questions, I'll incorporate the answers into the descriptions of the other nine auctions.
