2006 was a good year for me and mine, in many ways.

It's been a crazy week, I've been really busy with work and project proposals (this is a good thing). Anyway, that's my excuse for not feeding your [tw] habit more regularly. Sorry.

Tonight Corinne and I are attending the 60th Anniversary Party / Dinner / Devotional for Jim and Betty Beebe, two of our favorite people and members of our ecclesia. For reference: I've mentioned Jim and Betty at least once before.

Sixty years! Corinne and I have been married for less than 10% of that time. :-)

Tonight starts with a big turkey dinner, followed by a brief devotional and then a dessert social.

We all love Jim and Betty, they're a wonderful couple and wonderful individuals. Salt of the earth (and Jim is 100% Pure Swamp Yankee, which is -- sadly -- a dying breed). Tonight we get to show them how we feel.
